Within every experience hides the seed of your doom.
Everything arising from the your sense organs is corrupted in this way.
If you just think “this is a ride” then what comes in (through the sense organs) is all equal.
I want to say they are trivial, but that is only a half-truth. How can I explain that everything is both amazing and trivial simultaneously? This means they are both or neither. As soon as you say “this is trivial” or “this is amazing” you have watered the seed.
Only the mind can make these sensory events become twisted. This, I think, where “Reality” arises.
As I write this, I hear music on the radio. It is enjoyable to me. For a brief moment I thought, “how can I keep this?” By means of discs and tapes or film we can contain them, but to truly enjoy them I need to be in the current moment not clinging desperately and grasping. I hope you can see this as one possible example.
I do not mean to suggest that you do not experience enjoyment, dislike or indifference, though to an observer it may seem that way. rather I suggest to the best of your ability you do not dwell in your feeling.
It is important not to restrain, for that is not Truth and is of no Value. If you feel joy or sorrow, naturally youd have effects and behavior related to that feeling. This is natural.
Letting feelings arise and go without grasping them or dwelling on them is likened to realizing that all things are based on conditions for their current state. It is the way of things to Come and Go so we should do our best to be ok with it.
Make your oath to the Truth. Do not “pretend” that you are happy or indifferent when you are sad. If you this you are casting yourself into an endless array of delusion and “Trouble”.
TROUBLE
Trouble is a disruption that I would consider “Beyond Frame of Reference.”
If two people wager on an event and one wins, than subjectively speaking one might be said to have fortune while the other, Trouble.
This is based on temporal empty things. If either (person) were attached to winning, then regardless of winning or losing to me it is “Trouble.”
If neither (people) are stirred by the event in a disruptive way then there is not “Trouble.”
The result is not always forth coming because some will restrain (their true thoughts). If people are open then ignorance can be destroyed by awareness and trouble will be avoided.
There for when I say “Trouble” it does not mean “I am making trouble” or “you are making trouble.” This goes without saying because all things are subject to “Conditional Arising”.
