Saw this article from CNN and a video WCNC about a would be kidnapper walking into a Karate studio and I thought you guys might like it.
Summary: On January 3d of 2019, a man tries to force a woman into his car in Charlotte, North Carolina. The frightened woman runs into the closest place, a Karate studio with Head Instructor Randall Ephraim who calmly explains how wrong kidnapping is… just kidding, the man is taken out of the studio by a stretcher onto an ambulance.
